Dau Giay Agricultural Products Wholesale Market is invested by Thong Nhat Real Estate Joint Stock Company (owned subsidiary of Tin Nghia Corporation). Tin Nghia Corp. is appointed as the main investor of Day Giay wholesale market by the Provincial Party Committee and Dong Nai People’s Committee. Proton Company Limited is assigned as the co-investor and main operator of the market.
Before the market goes into operation, on May 19, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Trade Promotion Center of Dong Nai province joined Thong Nhat Real Estate Joint Stock Company and Proton Company Limited organizing an exchange program to connect between cooperatives, cooperative groups, farmers, merchants, barn owners, etc. to promote trading transactions through Dau Giay agri-food wholesale market.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Long, General Director of Proton Company Limited, the cooperatives and farmers that the Market Management Board connected are reputable partners who are aware of the need of producing high quality products for the market. As it is just in operation, the volume of goods traded is not much, but people are very excited to select all high-quality products for sale on the opening ceremony.

Located near Dau Giay junction (Xuan Thanh commune, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province), it is the largest key agricultural product wholesale market in Dong Nai province ever built. The market connects to key highways such as National Highway no. 20, National Highway no. 1 and Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway, convenient for transporting agricultural products and food from localities in the region such as Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Central, Western… especially the localities of Dong Nai province.
The market has an area of 55 hectares, with a total investment of over 1,400 billion VND, in phase I, Dau Giay agri-food wholesale market has focused on building 7 hectares with 216 pavilions and 317 townhouses (with area extending from 16 – 32m2). Dau Giay Agri-food Wholesale Market is open 24/7, with security cameras set up. Up to the time of inauguration, the market had 65% of stalls, townhouses and markets opened for operation, with an output of over 500 tons food per day.
Phase II of Dau Giay Agri-food Wholesale Market has been approved by Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, with an area is around 48 hectares. The project will include some zones for certified fresh poultry and all kinds of seafood, cold & cool storages, container parking, etc.
