Mekong International Wholesale Market locates in Soc Trang province, Mekong Delta region. It is an interdisciplinary foundation of economic complex, focusing on wholesale market activities, combining with the development of deep food processing industry, logistics services, and entertainment and tourism. This will be the first modern market model proposed in Vietnam.

The project will close the loop of the value chain, i.e. Input-output and supported services with a modern commercial ecosystem; Optimizing infrastructure facilities, creating an ideal living environment.

With a special geo-strategic location in Southeast Asia and the world, Soc Trang is next to the East Sea gateway, ideal for transportation by waterway, highway, expressway and airline.

The project has a river port and is located next to the largest deep-water international seaport in Vietnam – the Tran De seaport – which can accommodate ships of 50,000 – 100,000 DWT and over 100,000 DWT. The Mekong international wholesale market, once in operation, will be the best place to gather agricultural products of the entire Mekong Delta region for export to other regions and other countries.
